Whether you are looking to start a new business, grow a successful one or looking for funds to tie your business over difficult times, finding capital is one of your biggest challenges. A: Provide a recommended list of available sources of finance (including soft loans and grants) for new and growing businesses in London. Available on request by e-mailing carly@capitalenterprise.org
B: Enrolling on the Business Bootcamp Extra fund-raising workshops that are free of charge to any entrepreneur who is a client of a member of Capital Enterprise. These RBS sponsored 1-2 hour workshops look at raising money from specific sources of mainly government funded or backed sources such as R&D tax credits from the HRMC, innovation grants from the Technology Strategy board, loans through the government backed Enterprise Guarantee Scheme. In fact we are running eight workshops through-out the summer of 2011 so please check out our events page for more news.
C: Checking out the London funding conference website to download there fantastic guides on raising finance from investors both large and small. For the past two years Capital Enterprise has been a sponsor of the conference and we can fully recommend the how to guides on raising business angel investment or “crowdfunding” that can be found here.
