Lambeth Council is now seeking applications for an experienced workspace operator for a public-facing Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) focused workspace in the heart of Brixton, to be based within underused space in the grade II listed Brixton Recreation Centre.

The project aims to:

  • Create affordable and inclusive workspace to support new and growing STEM businesses
  • Create a centre that taps into the local area’s character and expertise and supports local people
  • Help young people gain knowledge and skills in STEM sectors
  • Attract and nurture the talents of people from black and minority ethnic communities

The closing date for applications is Monday 30th March at 12 noon.

The workspace opportunity is part of the Regenerating Brixton’s Rec Quarter Good Growth Fund project.
