NEN invites expression of interests from entrepreneurial business leaders to join its Board of Directors. We want to be representative of enterprise activities across the country.

Candidates must be persuasive and influential, willing to bring energy, passion, entrepreneurial flair and creativity to help with the continued growth of NEN.

Your skills and experience will be vital to enable NEN to remain the ‘home of enterprise support’, focussing on representing, uniting and supporting all organisations that are passionate about inspiring and encouraging enterprise. It is inevitable, like business, there needs to be positive change especially as the enterprise agenda has evolved since the NEN was first established in 1993.

It is an exciting and challenging opportunity to develop your knowledge and networks amongst other NEN Directors, the membership as a whole and bodies that they interact with, to increase your understanding of the wider range of enterprise issues the membership faces, and to be involved in shaping current and future strategy for NEN. Directors will also play an important role in engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders to develop and enhance new and existing relationships.

If you would like to express an interest in becoming a Director for NEN, or if you would like to nominate someone then please complete the attached Expression of Interest Form. The attached Director Roles and Responsibilities provides a further overview of what is required.

Expressions of Interest must be completed and returned to Carol Daniels, Company Secretary, carol.daniels@nationalenterprisenetwork.org no later than 5pm on the 30th October 2020.

All completed applications will be shared with other Quality Assured Members and Members as part of the election process and it is only that process which will determine any appointment, which will be conducted by postal vote.
